Fluid Simulation testing versions

Sat Aug 20, 2005, 9:07 AM
As I already told you on the previous journal, the next blender version will have a lot of new features, and most can already be tested on the CVS versions.

A few days ago, a version including fluid simulation was made available for linux and Os X, and now for windows. You can find it here : [link] (or here[link] for another linux version, or here : [link] for os x )

It still lack a lot of settings, but it's already fun to play with.

And don't forget to look at the intro tutorial [link] :)

PS: If anyone wants to send some images done with Blender, that (s)he thinks could fit in this group gallery, just send a note with a link to your image. Thanks.

Hm yes, Blender interface is changing a lot recently, so the buttons moves from one panel to another and it's hard to find something.
Here [link] you'll find the last versions for the fluid (well ... today it's the last version, but maybe in a few days it would have changed again). I didn't try this one, but I think you'll find the fluid in the Object panel (F7), there's a little button looking like some orange sparkles that should appear next to the Object Button, that should give you access to the Fluid Simulation panel.

(well, i've just tried with another BlenderCVS version from here [link] and it works too - choose the ones called "Blender-bf" )
