Kazix is the winner of the Blender 3D September DevID Contest. Well done :) ! We really liked his good use of particles to create believable grass and we especially liked the focal blur he added to give a feeling of depth. A well rounded and well lit piece. Thanks kazix. :)

That is beautiful. The grass is good, but I would have used a different texture for the sky, and added a sun in the background casting a shadow. All in all, the is a beautiful and well thought out piece

All you need is a big hammer, a roll of speedtape, and a spindle of safety wire, and you can make anything fly.

I would have submited something but, ive been trying to learn how to work Povray and its killing me. i keep getting bloody errors in the mesh ini.

Anyway i think the Logo should have been more red because it is.

*looks at the blender 3d logo sitting in lush grass up top* How did you achieve such great looking grass? Does the partical count matter, or is it a mix of both ground texture, blurring, and other factors?
